Formed in Chicago in 2015 by Julien Ehrlich and Max Kakacek, the band has earned a devoted following for their soulful blend of tender melancholy and radiant warmth.

Nicholas Allbrook is one of Western Australia's most versatile and prolific musical voices; a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer whose career has spanned two decades and countless projects. Best known as the frontman of Pond and former touring bassist for Tame Impala, Allbrook's musical life began in Perth as a founding member of Mink Mussel Creek, the project that first brought him together with future Tame Impala and Pond bandmates.
Since then, Allbrook has built a catalogue of solo work and collaborations defined by restless curiosity and poignant lyricism. He has fronted Pond for over a decade and has recently banded together a crew of like minded musical souls to form the band Walrus.
